"10" is a choreographic creation by Tao Ye, inspired by life reflections during the 2020 pandemic. This is a dance of prayer, hoping through this work that the pandemic will soon dissipate, allowing everyone to return to the theater and gather through dance.

In the piece, ten dancers gather around, forming a circular formation. Each dancer faces the center of the circle, using continuously rotating dance steps to create individual and collective movement trajectories. Over time, the dancers' movements begin from the spiral of their inner spines, spreading to their elbows and eventually to the tips of their fingers. In the large, swirling movements, the dancers' intertwined hands resemble flames burning through their bodies, with intense energy connections filling the entire space with a life ritual of dizzying rotation.

Rotation is the natural movement of all things in the universe. Through the dancers' circular movements of gathering and dispersing, the work outlines a primitive human fire ritual, expressing the common emotional bond of generations of people, hoping for the continuous cycle of life.
