Yan Yulin
Born in Ji'an, Jiangxi. Graduated from Jinggangshan University Affiliated Arts School in 2009 and received a degree in Dance Performance from the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts in 2015. Joined TAO Dance Theater in June 2016. During his tenure with TAO, he performed in TAO's repertoire including Weight 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and Contrast, touring across hundreds of theaters in over 30 countries. He contributed to the creative process of 12 and accompanied the artistic director to Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan to teach the company's choreographic material.
Appointed as a training instructor for TAO Dance Theater in 2021, he was selected for the TAO's Apprentice Program the same year, becoming the second inheritor of its Circular Movement System. In 2024, he became a founding dancer of TAO Dance Theater 2.
